Mermaid Conference Centre

We have exclusive use of the Mermaid, including its state-of-the-art auditorium, intimate break-out rooms, and restaurant with spectacular views of the Thames. There’s free wireless internet throughout the building.
History Originally opened as the Mermaid Theatre in 1959, it was built by the actor Sir Bernard Miles. It was the first theatre built in the City of London since Shakespeare’s time, and its open stage and single-tier auditorium became a model for modern theatre design.
What's nearby The Mermaid is a short walk from St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern, and Shakespeare’s Globe. The nearest tube stations are Mansion House (Circle & District lines) and St. Paul’s (Central line). Note: Blackfriars tube station is closed, but the overground station is still open.
IET London Savoy Place
Our workshop venue
Be inspired by an intimate workshop held at the IET London Savoy Place. It’s beautifully conserved and well equipped with lots of natural light, free wireless internet, and great catering.
History The Savoy estate has a royal history dating back to the 13th Century, The Institution of Electrical Engineers (now the IET) took over in 1909. In 1922 the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) was established in this building, and made some of its first radio broadcasts here.
What's nearby The Savoy is on the Victoria Embankment, minutes from the Strand and across the river from the South Bank. The nearest tube stations are Temple (Circle & District lines) and Embankment (Bakerloo, Circle, District & Northern lines.)
